WHY BE ON INTERNET

Objectives of Sunnynook Primary School Site:

To position our school to lead beyond 2000.

To help our children to link with other schools internationally so that they can become citizens of the world.

To encourage the children of the school to communicate with one another and their teachers, and sometimes special guests, online via a chat page and email.

To introduce cyber homework to our schools capabilities.

To tell the world about our School.

To provide safe access to some useful parts of the internet, via our links page, to our teachers and our children, for research purposes.

To keep the entire world up-to-date on what's happening at our school via our News page.

To show the world some of the wonderful work being produced by the children in the school.

To provide opportunities for the children to learn and practice the various cyber communication skills we teach them.

To give our teachers a chance to become internet education pioneers.
